Podersdorf Lighthouse
The lighthouse is located on the western edge of the town and at the small harbor of Podersdorf am See. Standing about twelve meters tall, it is clearly visible in the flat landscape of the Neusiedl Basin. Originally built as a navigation aid and to transmit storm warnings for water sports enthusiasts, it has since become a popular tourist destination and a very popular photo spot. However, it is not possible to tour the inside of the tower!

Geschriebenstein Observation Tower
The Geschriebenstein Observation Tower – In place of a wooden tower ("Arpád Tower") that the town of Kőszeg built on the Geschriebenstein in 1891, the town of Rechnitz constructed the stone observation tower that still stands today, right on the state border, in 1913. The initiator was tax notary Ladislaus Gullner, and the builder was Josef Varga from Rechnitz. Since the fall of the "Iron Curtain," the observation tower has once again been a popular destination for many visitors, as it was in earlier times, and since the summer of 2001, a sundial has been reinstalled on the front side.

Riegersburg Castle
Proud and mighty, Riegersburg castle sits atop the 482-meter-high volcanic rock, overlooking the hilly landscape of southeastern Styria. Throughout its centuries of existence, Riegersburg was never conquered. Today, the ascent to the castle is much easier, but still a memorable experience.

Schlossberg Graz
Enjoy the view from the Graz Schlossberg in the heart of the old town. What other city besides Graz can boast of having a green, walkable—and wonderful—mountain right in the middle of its old town? The Schlossberg. It draws people in: in the spring with fresh greenery and the first rays of sunshine; in the summer with its shady trees and open-air performances; in the autumn with its vibrant colors; and in the winter, offering an escape from the grey of the city. Once at the top, there is much to discover and a magnificent view to enjoy: over the red-tiled rooftops and the surrounding hills and mountains.
Teichalm
Teichalm Lake is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters, covers an area of 5 hectares, and is a wonderful destination both in summer and winter. In summer, you can hike around this mountain lake or explore it by pedal boat. In winter, right next to the lake are the Teichalm lifts, where you can ski, snowboard, sled, and slide.
